Wood-burning stove installed in a living room with exposed brick

Our HETAS-registered engineers will help you choose the right appliance for your room size and heating needs. We take care of the full installation — from constructing the hearth and preparing the fireplace chamber, through to connecting the flue and commissioning the stove. You'll receive a compliance certificate and a full handover walkthrough.

Stainless steel flexible chimney liner being installed

Over time, older chimneys can deteriorate, crack, or become blocked — making them unsafe for use with modern appliances. We install high-grade 316 or 904 stainless-steel flexible liners, correctly sized for your appliance and fuel type, sealed with register plates and insulated where required.

External twin-wall flue system running up the side of a house

Twin-wall systems are ideal for properties without an existing chimney, or where the existing flue cannot be relined. We design the route to be both compliant and sympathetic to your property, whether running internally through the building or externally along the gable wall. All penetrations are fire-stopped to current regulations.

Multi-fuel stove burning brightly in a cosy room

Multi-fuel stoves offer the flexibility to burn wood, anthracite, and smokeless fuels. We ensure the flue diameter, height, and terminal position are correctly specified for the fuel type and appliance output — critical for safe, efficient operation and compliance with Building Regulations Part J.

Engineer surveying a chimney with measuring equipment

We assess your property's structure, measure existing chimney dimensions, check for obstructions or shared flues, and discuss your heating goals. You receive a detailed specification drawing and a clear, itemised quotation. If planning consent or Building Control notification is needed, we'll advise you upfront.

HETAS compliance certificate and stove installation documentation

As HETAS-registered installers, we are authorised to self-certify solid-fuel heating installations. This means the work is automatically notified to your local Building Control department, and you receive a certificate of compliance — essential for insurance, home surveys, and future property sales.

Great service from showroom through to use. Advice and suggestions when we first looked in the showroom were helpful and knowledgeable as was everything discussed during the survey, after which we decided on an inset log burner. The installation was completed over the course of a day (even with a new lintel having to be fitted due to a little surprise which was not apparent until the work was being carried out). We are delighted with the result and love the log burner. Thanks to all at FBS Flues and can’t recommend them highly enough.

Superb, friendly and helpful service! They came for an initial check and installation was quick, easy and tidy. They're complete professionals and did a really fantastic job installing our Stovax burner in our previously disused fireplace. Thank you!

We thought we were having a chimney stack repointed, but it turned out it needed to be rebuilt. As the scaffolding was going to be up for longer than anticipated, we decided to have a liner for the multi-fuel burner installed at the same time. Luckily FBS Flues in Warminster were able to work with the roofing company and fitted the liner at short notice. They were friendly and professional and did the job in half a day. This included sweeping the chimney, fitting a new pot, cowl and building the flaunching. They left everywhere clean and tidy and we are happy to recommend FBS Flues and their admin and outdoor staff for all things chimney related.
